ServiceS / Consulting
Consulting that fits how you actually work
I help organizations improve how they co-create and deliver value through their digital products and services. Not by importing a framework wholesale and asking everyone to conform to it, but by working out which principles matter for your organization and helping you express them in how you operate.
What I help with
Most of my consulting sits in a few areas: shaping service management strategy and where it should head next; assessing current capability honestly and deciding what to improve first; designing or untangling the practices and processes that carry the daily work; and choosing, combining, or making peace between frameworks, so that ITIL, DevOps, Agile, and the rest serve you rather than compete for your attention. Often the useful work is less about adding something new and more about making what you already have work as intended.
Who it is for
Organizations that know something in how they deliver services could work better but do not want a huge and expensive transformation to find out what. Public sector and corporate clients alike, whether you are early in your service management thinking or well down the road and looking to modernize.
How I work
I start where you are, look at the actual work rather than just how it was designed, and recommend small changes that move you forward in meaningful ways rather than larger ones that are primarily designed to impress. Because consulting fits around my teaching, engagements usually run at one to two days a week, which suits focused, steady work better than an all-consuming push. Clients in the Stockholm area can have me on-site; further afield, we work hybrid or primarily online.
Why work with me
I have spent more than fifteen years across ITIL, DevOps, Lean, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, teaching several as an accredited instructor and drawing on all of them in practice, so I can place any one approach among the others rather than selling you a single one. That breadth means the advice you get is about your challenges, not about my preferred method.
Getting started
Tell me what is not working, or what you are trying to move toward, and we will work out whether and how I can help.
How to engage
Two channels
I am employed by BiTA Service Management AB in Sweden. By agreement with BiTA, I am also available on a limited basis for contract work worldwide through Amsonia AB
Most of my accredited training is delivered through BiTA, where I have taught since 2016 and been an employee since 2019. BiTA has been an accredited ITIL training organization since 2004, so its course materials and administration meet PeopleCert's standards, and it also runs training in DevOps, support and customer service, and in-house programs. Working through an established organization like BiTA means you get the backing of a full training and consulting operation alongside the teaching itself.
Amsonia AB
I hold accreditations through PeopleCert, HDI, DevOps Institute, and HIT Global, and I deliver certification training across the full ITIL 4 and ITIL (Version 5) suite, DevOps, and related frameworks in English and Swedish.
Through Amsonia AB, I work with Accredited Training Organizations including Learning Tree, Cornerstone, and Peopleteam, taking engagements beyond what I deliver for my primary employer, on-site and virtually across Europe, North America, and Asia.
