Mentoring for practitioners and leaders
Training gives people a foundation. Mentoring helps them use it. I offer one-to-one support for individuals putting service management ideas into practice, whether they are new to the field and finding their feet, or experienced and working through something specific.
What it is
Regular, focused conversations built around what you are actually dealing with: a practice you are trying to establish, a change you are trying to lead, a certification you are working toward and want to understand rather than just pass, or a career you are trying to steer. Not a fixed curriculum, but a steady sounding board with someone who has seen the terrain.
Who it is for
Practitioners who want to grow faster than trial and error allows, new managers stepping into service management responsibility, and experienced people who simply want a knowledgeable outside voice to think with. Individuals arranging it for themselves, or organizations arranging it for someone they are developing.
How it works
Sessions run every two weeks or monthly, at least an hour each, with a three-month minimum so there is time for real progress rather than a single conversation. Beyond that rhythm, the sessions follow what you need rather than a script. We work on-site if it is convenient for us both, or online, whichever suits best.
Getting started
If you have someone in mind, yourself or a colleague, tell me a little about the situation and the desired outcomes.
How to engage
Two channels
I am employed by BiTA Service Management AB in Sweden. By agreement with BiTA, I am also available on a limited basis for contract work worldwide through Amsonia AB
Most of my accredited training is delivered through BiTA, where I have taught since 2016 and been an employee since 2019. BiTA has been an accredited ITIL training organization since 2004, so its course materials and administration meet PeopleCert's standards, and it also runs training in DevOps, support and customer service, and in-house programs. Working through an established organization like BiTA means you get the backing of a full training and consulting operation alongside the teaching itself.
Amsonia AB
I hold accreditations through PeopleCert, HDI, DevOps Institute, and HIT Global, and I deliver certification training across the full ITIL 4 and ITIL (Version 5) suite, DevOps, and related frameworks in English and Swedish.
Through Amsonia AB, I work with Accredited Training Organizations including Learning Tree, Cornerstone, and Peopleteam, taking engagements beyond what I deliver for my primary employer, on-site and virtually across Europe, North America, and Asia.
